Q1: What would you do if you weren't afriad?
"Trying is a part of failing. If you are afraid to fail then you are afraid to try." - Steven Wright.
If I weren't afraid what would I do? Save the Rain Forest, travel and explore every nook and cranny of the world, I would even try sky diving! To tell you the truth this question stumped me for many weeks: what would I do? Well the answer is work at a zoo. I want to educate people about animals. I wish to go to schools and talk to children, tell them how important animals are to this world. Most of all I will work with exotic animals and give them a fantastic life even though they might live in a zoo. The problem is that I'm not ecstatic about the idea of getting up in front of people and talking. I was never very good at speeches (and essays) and the idea that these are WILD animals, at anytime they could attack me. Although all of these things frighten me, I wish to continue with this dream of working with these gorgeous creatures. If I was not afraid: why, I'd work at a zoo!
As a young girl I always dreamed of working with animals. I used to act like I was an animal expert like Steve Irwin or Jeff Corwin; I would travel the world and educate people about different animals. At this exact moment I'm getting ready to attend Western State of Colorado to get a degree in Wildlife Biology. After college I'll apply at a zoo and start my life of giving animals a better life and teaching people the value of animals. I believe it will change the world by letting people know that animals are creatures that deserve respect. People can't just cage up wild animals and show them off to their friends. By working at a zoo I might not be able to save the Rain Forest, but by helping animals I feel I will still be saving the world a little at a time.
